THE "LEN HUTTON" AUTOGRAPH MINIATURE CRICKET BAT BY GRADIDGE (WOOLWICH, LONDON), Cricketing memorabilia: Commemorating Len Hutton's test record 364 against the old enemy in 1938. It's signed by Len and the 16 touring Aussies (plus manager) on the front, with the England XI on the back (including non-player Arthur Fagg). The back also features a cartoon by Tom Webster of the Daily Mail, said to be Britain's highest-earning cartoonist between the wars (which doubtless helped to fund a predilection for American show girls). Original Graddige box featuring Hutton. England score? 903-7. Result? England won by an innings and 579 runs. Those were the days!
